Scandinavian Flat Bread

1 cup hot water
1 cup graham flour
2 Tablespoons shortening
1/2 teaspoon salt
all-purpose white flour

Mix ingredients together and let stand until cool.  Add enough all-purpose white flour to roll out to a very thin consistency.  Roll out as for lefse (into large rounds; roll out on floured cloth.  I use a cloth-covered rolling pin.).  Bake on both sides to a light brown in hot oven (450) or on lefse griddle.  Break into pieces and eat plain or with butter.
