A quick, simple dip that will keep you chomping chips in front of
the game happily!
1 10-1/2 ounce can bean with bacon soup
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup Jay's New Mexico Red Chile Sauce *
1 Tablespoon finely minced onion (or use instant minced onion)
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic (or 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder)
2 Tablespoons water
In saucepan, mix together the soup, cheese, red chile sauce, onion, garlic and water.
Heat slowly, stirring constantly, until heated all the way through. Adjust
garlic to taste. Keep warm in small chafing dish or fondue pot, and thin with more
water if necessary. Serve with tortilla chips. Makes approximately two cups.
* This may also be made substituting chopped green chile for the red chile sauce.
