Sailing the St. Croix River
Jay and Doug got our sailboat off the beach after a lot of muscle-work earlier in the week, and we went sailing on the St. Croix River Thursday & Friday, July 21-22, 2005. The weather was sunny, clear, beautiful, but unfortunately not much more than a breath of wind. We still had a great time and I took lots of pictures.

Here Jay & Doug set the rigging; our gear waits on the dock (note: water level is down! Four weeks ago the dock extended about 12 feet into the water.) We headed south toward Stillwater, passing underneath the wonderful old rail bridge.
